Most firms hire a tender writer. Then wonder why nothing changed.
A writer polishes words. A precontracts team runs the pursuit, the go / no-go call, the estimate, the methodology, the compliance suite, the submission, and the debrief that feeds the next one. Visionex is the second thing. Engage the whole function, or just the part you're missing.

QS & bid management
01 · Pre-tender & strategy
Go / no-go and positioning
The most expensive tender is the one you should never have entered. Before a dollar goes into writing, we assess the opportunity the way an evaluator will: can you score on the non-price criteria, is the incumbent beatable, and does your track record answer the questions the RFT is actually asking?
If the answer is no, we tell you, and you keep your estimating hours for a tender you can win.
02 · Bid execution
Full bid management
This is the whole submission, run end to end, one team, one programme, one deadline that never slips. We hold the schedule, chase the inputs, write the responses, build the pricing and lodge the tender while your people keep delivering the jobs that pay for it.
Every response is written to the scoring rubric. Evaluators mark against criteria; we write against criteria. It sounds obvious. It's rarer than you'd think.

03 · Bid library & surge
Assets that compound
Most contractors rebuild the same CVs, case studies and capability statements from scratch every tender, at 11pm, the night before close. We build them once, properly, and keep them current. The next tender starts at 60% written instead of zero.
And when three deadlines land in the same fortnight, our surge support means you don't have to choose which one to lose.
04 · Post-submission
The work after the deadline
Lodging the tender isn't the end. Shortlisted bids are won and lost in the evaluation board presentation, and contracts are protected in the paperwork that follows. We stay in the room after the deadline passes.
05 · Ongoing engagement
Retainer partnerships
Our best results come from firms where we run precontracts as an embedded function, watching the pipeline with you, making the go / no-go calls together, and carrying lessons from every debrief into the next submission. That's why our client retention is 100%: we're not a supplier you re-procure each tender. We're the department you didn't have to hire.

06 · Beyond tenders
Grants & awards
Grant applications and industry award submissions are scored documents, judged against published criteria, the same game as tendering, with different referees. We apply the same evaluator-first discipline to funding applications and the recognition that strengthens your next tender's track-record section.
How we work
From tender on your desk to submission lodged
Send us the tender
Forward the RFT, EOI or prequalification the day it lands. Within 24 hours you get a go / no-go recommendation and a portal check, before you commit anything to writing.
Strategy before words
We map the evaluation criteria, weightings and the incumbent landscape, then set win themes. Every section of the submission traces back to something the evaluator scores.
We run the bid
One bid programme, owned by us. Writing, estimating, plans, design and reviews run in parallel, with structured input sessions that take hours of your time, not weeks.
Lodge, present, debrief
We lodge through the portal, prepare you for evaluation presentations, and capture the debrief, win or lose. Every cycle makes the next bid stronger.
Questions we get asked
Before you ask
Do you only take on full bid management, or can we use one service?
Either. Plenty of clients start with a single piece, a methodology, an estimate, a review of a draft, and expand once they've seen the work. The services above are modular by design.
What sectors do you work in?
Civil & infrastructure, facility management and defence, across council, state government, federal and prime-contractor procurement. See Industries for how the game differs in each.
We've already got an estimator. Why would we need you?
Keep the estimator, they price the job. We win the right to do it. Non-price criteria commonly decide 30–50% of a civil tender's score, and that's the part an estimator isn't paid to write. We also take the schedules, plans and returnables off their desk so pricing gets their full attention.
What does it cost?
It depends on scope, a single methodology narrative is a different engagement to a full defence panel bid. Every engagement starts with a free tender review and a fixed, written proposal. No surprises after you've committed.
How fast can you start?
Send the tender today, get the go / no-go call within 24 hours. If the deadline is tight, say so, surge support exists for exactly that.

Have a tender on your desk?
Send it through. Within 24 hours you'll have a go / no-go call, a portal check, and a clear strategy, before you commit a dollar to writing.
